Terms and Conditions

 

Effective Date: March 5, 2026


These Terms & Conditions outline the policies that apply to orders and services provided by Sugarbelle Boards (“Sugarbelle”). By placing an order, submitting an inquiry, or purchasing products from Sugarbelle Boards, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms described below.


These policies are intended to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both our customers and our team as we thoughtfully prepare and deliver beautifully styled boards and displays for your gatherings.


Orders and Booking

Orders may be placed through direct communication, website inquiries, or other approved ordering methods.


Availability is limited and based on scheduling and preparation capacity. Dates are reserved on a first-confirmed basis.


Orders are considered confirmed only once the required deposit has been received and the requested date has been secured.


Service Area

Sugarbelle Boards primarily serves the Nashville metropolitan area and surrounding communities. Delivery availability may vary depending on distance, scheduling, and event requirements.


Orders outside the standard service area may be accepted at Sugarbelle’s discretion and may incur additional delivery fees.


Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice due to fluctuations in ingredient availability and market conditions. Once an order has been confirmed with a deposit, the quoted price will be honored for that booking.


Deposits and Payment

To reserve an order date, a non-refundable deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total order amount is required at the time an order is placed. An order is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received.


This deposit allows Sugarbelle to reserve your date and begin planning, sourcing ingredients, and preparing the elements that create the beautiful gathering experience each board is designed to offer. All deposits are non-refundable.


The remaining balance must be paid prior to delivery or pickup, unless otherwise stated for larger displays or event services.


Sugarbelle Boards reserves the right to begin preparation only after the required deposit or full payment has been received.


Non-Payment

Because Sugarbelle reserves preparation time and event dates in advance, timely payment is required to honor each booking.


If the remaining balance is not received by the payment deadline outlined in these Terms & Conditions, Sugarbelle may release the reserved date and discontinue preparation or delivery of the order so that the time may be made available for other scheduled gatherings.


Any deposits or payments previously made remain non-refundable.


Styled Food Displays and Large Event Orders

Styled food displays and larger event orders require advance planning, preparation, and ingredient sourcing. To reserve an event date, a non-refundable deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total order amount is required at the time the order is placed. An event date is not considered reserved until the required deposit has been received.


The remaining balance for styled food displays and large event orders must be paid in full no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled delivery, setup, or pickup date.


Because these displays require significant planning and preparation in advance of the event, all deposits and payments made for styled food displays or large event orders are final and non-refundable.  If an event is cancelled for any reason, no refund will be issued for deposits or any payments made.


Display Setup and Guest Interaction

Sugarbelle-styled food displays are carefully arranged to create a beautiful, cohesive presentation for each gathering. Once delivery or setup is complete, the host assumes responsibility for the display and any guest interaction with the food or display elements.


Sugarbelle is not responsible for changes to the appearance, arrangement, or condition of the display that occur after delivery or setup, including changes resulting from guest interaction, item movement, or normal service during the event.


Accepted Payment Methods

Payments may be made using the payment methods accepted by Sugarbelle Boards at the time of booking. Orders are not considered confirmed until the required payment or deposit has been received.


Order Changes

Because each Sugarbelle board is thoughtfully planned and prepared for a specific date and gathering, changes to orders may not always be possible once an order has been confirmed.


Requests for adjustments will be considered when possible; however, Sugarbelle cannot guarantee that modifications can be accommodated after planning, sourcing, or preparation has begun.


Board Design and Presentation

Sugarbelle Boards specializes in custom, hand-crafted boards designed with seasonal ingredients and artistic presentation. Because each board is individually assembled, every arrangement is unique and may vary slightly in appearance from photographs or previous designs.


Images displayed on the website, social media, or promotional materials represent the style and quality of Sugarbelle boards but may not reflect the exact items or layout of a specific order.


Ingredient availability may vary. When necessary, Sugarbelle may adjust presentation or substitute items with products of equal or greater quality while maintaining the overall aesthetic and experience of the board.


Guest Count Guidance

Approximate guest counts listed for Sugarbelle boards are provided as general guidance based on typical event consumption. Because every gathering is different, the amount each guest enjoys may vary depending on factors such as event length, guest appetite, and whether additional food is served.


Sugarbelle boards and styled food displays are prepared with generous portions of meats and cheeses; however, guest consumption may vary, and specific serving quantities cannot be guaranteed.


Customers are encouraged to consider the nature and duration of their gathering when selecting quantities for their order.


Serving sizes are approximate and intended as guidance. 


Cancellations

Because Sugarbelle boards and styled displays are thoughtfully planned and prepared for specific dates and gatherings, all purchases are final and non-refundable.


Customers may cancel an order if plans change; however, all deposits and payments made to Sugarbelle Boards are non-refundable.


Order dates are reserved, and preparation begins once an order is confirmed, which may include planning, ingredient sourcing, and scheduling. For this reason, cancelled orders are not eligible for refunds.

Delivery

Delivery may be available depending on location and scheduling.


Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring timely access to the delivery location. Sugarbelle Boards is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery information, restricted access locations, venue delays, or circumstances beyond our control.


Delivery times are approximate and may vary due to traffic conditions, weather, scheduling logistics, or other operational factors. While Sugarbelle makes every reasonable effort to arrive within the agreed timeframe, minor delays may occur.


Minor variations in delivery timing do not constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions and do not entitle the customer to cancellation, refund, or price reduction.


Pickup  & Freshness

Sugarbelle boards are prepared fresh and thoughtfully arranged for each order. Each board is created with care so it arrives ready to be enjoyed at the table.


To ensure the best experience, orders should be picked up at the scheduled time. Because our boards are perishable and designed to be enjoyed soon after preparation, Sugarbelle cannot guarantee freshness or presentation for orders collected more than 30 minutes after the agreed-upon pickup time. 


Orders not picked up within a reasonable time of the scheduled pickup may not be available or in original condition. Refunds will not be issued for unclaimed orders. 


Transfer of Responsibility

Once an order has been delivered or picked up, responsibility for the product's handling, storage, and service transfers to the customer or event host. 


Sugarbelle Boards is not responsible for food safety once products are no longer in our possession.


Product Handling and Freshness

Sugarbelle boards are prepared fresh and are intended to be enjoyed shortly after delivery or pickup.


Perishable foods should not remain at room temperature for extended periods. As a general food safety guideline, perishable items should not remain unrefrigerated for more than approximately two (2) hours. If food is not consumed within that timeframe, it should be properly refrigerated.


Once products have been delivered, set out, or picked up, the host or customer assumes responsibility for monitoring how long food remains at room temperature and for ensuring proper storage of any remaining items. Sugarbelle Boards cannot guarantee the safety or quality of products that remain unrefrigerated beyond the recommended time 

limits or those that are handled, stored, or served after delivery.


Event Food Service and Monitoring

For styled food displays or event boards, Sugarbelle Boards prepares and presents the food at the agreed time and location.


Once the display has been delivered or arranged, ongoing monitoring of the food service area, including temperature control and the length of time food remains at room temperature, becomes the responsibility of the host or event organizer.


Sugarbelle Boards is not responsible for the safety or quality of food that remains unattended, is left out for extended periods, or is handled by guests after setup is complete.


Hosts are encouraged to ensure that perishable items are consumed promptly and that any remaining food is properly refrigerated.


ALLERGEN INFORMATION

IMPORTANT NOTICE

SUGARBELLE BOARDS IS NOT A NUT-FREE KITCHEN.

Sugarbelle Boards prepares products in a kitchen where tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, and other common allergens are present and handled regularly.

While reasonable care is taken during preparation, cross-contact with allergens may occur. For this reason, Sugarbelle Boards cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens.


Certain ingredients used in our boards may be sourced from third-party suppliers who represent their products as gluten-free or free from specific allergens. Sugarbelle Boards relies on supplier-provided information and cannot independently verify or guarantee the allergen status of ingredients supplied by third parties.


Guests with food allergies or dietary sensitivities should exercise caution before consuming any Sugarbelle products. Individuals with severe food allergies are advised not to consume products prepared in our kitchen environment.


Customers are responsible for informing their guests of this allergen notice when Sugarbelle products are served at private events or gatherings.


By purchasing or consuming products from Sugarbelle Boards, customers acknowledge and accept that all items are prepared in a kitchen where allergens are present and that cross-contact cannot be fully avoided.


Event Setups and Equipment

For styled food displays or event installations, Sugarbelle may provide boards, serving pieces, or styling elements depending on the arrangement.


Any display items, boards, or equipment provided by Sugarbelle remain Sugarbelle's property unless otherwise specified and must be returned following the event.


Event Display and Guest Interaction

For styled food displays, Sugarbelle Boards arranges each presentation to create an inviting and visually refined dining experience.


Once the display is complete, guests may begin serving themselves and interacting with the arrangement. Sugarbelle Boards is not responsible for changes to the display's appearance, accidental disturbance of the arrangement, or the movement of food items or serving pieces once guests begin serving themselves.


The host or event organizer is responsible for supervising guest interaction with the display and ensuring that any borrowed serving pieces or display items belonging to Sugarbelle Boards are returned when required.


Event Orders

Styled food displays and event installations may require minimum order amounts or additional service fees, depending on the size, location, and complexity of the event.


Event Timing

Customers are responsible for ensuring timely access to the event location and setup area.

Sugarbelle Boards is not responsible for delays caused by venue restrictions, schedule changes, or late access to event spaces.


Photography

Sugarbelle Boards may photograph finished boards, styled food displays, or event setups for portfolio, website, or social media purposes unless the customer requests otherwise in advance.


Limitation of Liability

Sugarbelle Boards shall not be held liable for damages, losses, or injuries resulting from the consumption, handling, or misuse of products after delivery or pickup.


Customers assume responsibility for proper food handling and guest dietary considerations once the products have been received.


Force Majeure

Sugarbelle Boards shall not be held liable for delays, interruptions, or the inability to fulfill an order due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, power outages, public emergencies, or other unforeseen events that prevent or significantly interfere with normal business operations.


If conditions arise that make travel unsafe or prevent reasonable access to the delivery or event location, Sugarbelle Boards reserves the right to delay delivery or modify service as necessary to protect the safety of our team and customers.


In the event that such circumstances occur, Sugarbelle Boards will make reasonable efforts to communicate with customers and, when possible, arrange an alternative delivery time or mutually agreeable solution.


Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.


Brand and Content

The Sugarbelle Boards name, branding, designs, photographs, and written content are the property of Sugarbelle Boards and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without permission.


Updates to These Terms

Sugarbelle Boards may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect operational changes, business needs, or legal requirements. The most current version will always be posted on our website with the updated effective date.

At Sugarbelle, each board is thoughtfully prepared to create a beautiful experience around the table. Because our boards are freshly curated for every order and contain perishable ingredients, items cannot be returned, and all purchases are final and non-refundable once an order has been confirmed.


Our policies are designed to protect the time, care, and preparation that go into every Sugarbelle board while ensuring clarity for our customers when reserving their gathering date.


Each order reserves preparation time and a place on the Sugarbelle calendar so that every board can be carefully planned, sourced, and styled for the gathering it is created to serve.
